Sylogi shop (collection in Greek), also known as Grivas’ shop, is situated in the old city of the
island of Poros in Greece, near the greek orthodox church of St. George.
Both the shop and church of St. George were built on the site of the temple to Athena. The shop
has been characterized as a preservable monument from the Ministry of Culture of Greece.
You are weΙcome to visit the traditional shop which can be found in the heart of Poros Town, at
St George Square, where it has stood since 1890.

It was "the department store" of the time. The front section was dedicated to a range of products
from fabrics to everything for the bridal dowry, while at the back was the grocery department.
The cellar, used for storage of wine and oil, literally became one of the first tavernas as the
waiting pensioners took a refreshing drink.
The shop has remained in the same family to the present day, now seΙling fine glass, tableware,
cutlery, quality linen, kitchen and bath items and baby dowry.
